Photo in summer
Here's a familiar Bellevue scene, a photo from the area above town in Bellevue State Park. This one shows the beauty of summer. Here's the link where I found it: Photo-sharing community. Discover the world through photos. www.panoramio.com/photo/27826965
I know that view well, of course. Across the river and north a piece and a bit is Chestnut Mountain Resort-one of the better places to ski around these parts, if you're so inclined.
Good fishing right below Lock and Dam 12 there, as well.
It's starting to get warmer here, and before too long we'll have summer's heat and humidity. And shadflies. If you've never encountered them, you're in for a treat.

That's what I saw today! I took my first jog to the top of Bellevue State Park, and it felt great.
ReplyDeleteI forgot that the beauty here is of hidden places, mysterious places even in the proximity of human development. So different from Wyoming.
